Ashfield 2131 sits on the main Western Line, in Inner West Council. It has one of the highest apartment densities in the Inner West — a mix of 1960s–70s red-brick walk-up blocks and newer complexes around the station and Liverpool Road, plus grand Federation homes on the leafy streets toward Ashfield Park.
The older red-brick walk-ups are the volume of what we move here — 3- and 4-storey, mostly without lifts. Floor count is the single biggest driver of hours on those moves. Newer blocks near the station have lifts and require booked service-lift windows.
Liverpool Road (the Hume Highway) and Parramatta Road bound the suburb and are heavy arterials. For load-outs near them we plan around peak windows; residential streets toward the park are quieter and easier.
