What Menai actually involves.
Menai 2234 sits south of the Georges River between Illawong and Bangor, and its housing is almost entirely detached family homes on quarter-acre blocks, developed largely from the 1980s onwards. That gives us wide streets, driveway parking as standard, single or split-level layouts, and simple truck access on almost every move we quote here.
The suburb pattern is cul-de-sac heavy — Menai Road is the main spine, and most residential streets branch off it into dead-end loops. That is good news for a moving truck if the cul-de-sac has room to turn, but occasionally a very long single-line cul-de-sac means the truck stages at the entry and we shuttle the load in. We check the address on the quote call and bring the right truck.
Alfords Point Bridge is the main route in and out to the north — across the Georges River to Padstow, and from there into the Kingsford Smith Freeway and beyond. Weekday 6:30am–8:30am northbound peaks are heavy, and afternoon southbound between 4pm and 6pm is the return-flow slog. Menai moves work best either side of those windows, or on weekend mornings when the bridge is quiet.
Menai Marketplace is the local shopping hub, and Menai High and the primary schools cluster on the north-east side of the suburb. Load-outs on the streets around the schools slow noticeably during school drop-off and pickup — we plan around those windows on weekday jobs.

Confirm cul-de-sac turnaround if the truck needs it
