Tamarama 2026 is one of Sydney's smallest suburbs — a few streets running back from Tamarama Beach between Bondi and Bronte, in Waverley Council. The housing is a mix of small walk-up apartment blocks and clifftop apartments with ocean views, plus a handful of Federation and Art Deco cottages tucked up the hill.
Tamarama Marine Drive is the main road along the beachfront and narrow, single-lane in places. Parking is tight year-round and impossible on summer weekend afternoons. For beachfront addresses we push toward weekday mornings or Saturday before 10am.
The clifftop pocket at the top of Illawong Avenue and Fletcher Street has walk-up apartment blocks with ocean views — floor count is the biggest variable on those moves.
