The streets on the harbour side (Wentworth Road, Coolong Road, Fitzwilliam Road) climb and drop steeply.
That gradient is the number-one variable in a Vaucluse move. A house halfway down a steep driveway with an internal 2-flight staircase and a basement level is a very different job on the clock than a Turramurra single-level equivalent. We ask about driveway gradient and internal stair layout on the quote call, and size the crew and truck accordingly.
Old South Head Road is the main artery in and out. Weekday 7am–9am westbound and 4pm–6pm eastbound are heavy commuter windows. Where the schedule allows we push Vaucluse jobs to weekday mid-morning or Saturday mornings when the road runs cleanly in both directions.
