Removalists in Castle Hill
Castle Hill is family-home country with a growing apartment core near the Sydney Metro station. A 4-bed house move with our 4-mover crew is $2,400–$3,000 + GST at $300/hr. A 2-bed apartment near Castle Towers is $600–$900 + GST at $150/hr with the 2-mover crew. The variable is which side of the suburb you are on — Metro core, or established family streets.

Moving in Castle Hill
What Castle Hill actually involves.
Castle Hill 2154 splits into two very different move types. The older core — the streets off Old Northern Road, Showground Road and the pockets around Castlewood Drive — is 3- and 4-bedroom detached family homes on quarter-acre blocks, mostly single or split-level, mostly with driveway parking and easy truck access. That is the majority of what we move here, and full-house loads finish in one truck.
The other Castle Hill is the Metro-adjacent apartment ring that has come out of the ground since the Sydney Metro Northwest opened in 2019. The buildings around Castle Towers, the Junction site, and along Terminus Street are 15- to 30-storey towers with service lifts, dedicated loading docks and strata move-in bookings — the same job pattern as Chatswood or Parramatta, not a Hills District family-home job.
The M2 Hills Motorway is the main artery in and out. Weekday peaks are heavy in both directions — eastbound morning, westbound afternoon — and Windsor Road inside the suburb slows with school-run traffic between 3pm and 4:30pm on weekdays. Where the schedule is flexible we push Castle Hill jobs toward weekday mid-morning or Saturday-morning slots.
Castle Towers itself is a very large shopping centre and the road layout around it — Old Northern Road, Terminus Street, Castle Street — reroutes traffic in irregular ways on weekend afternoons. Apartment addresses on the tower side of the suburb: give us the building name and we'll plan the loading-dock entry accordingly, because the wrong entry adds real time.
Before you book
What to tell us when you call.
The quicker we know these, the tighter the hours range on your quote.
01
Tower move? Book the service lift 2–3 weeks ahead
Every Metro-adjacent Castle Hill tower — The Address, The Highline, Highfields — needs a service-lift booking through building management. Two to three weeks ahead is safe. Send us your booked date and we'll size the crew to your window.
02
Family home? Confirm driveway width and gradient
Most Castle Hill driveways take a big truck, but the slightly older streets sometimes have a low garage lintel or a steep drop. If either applies, tell us on the quote call and we'll bring the truck that fits.
03
Avoid the school-run window on Windsor Road
Between 3pm and 4:30pm on weekdays, Windsor Road and Old Northern Road slow noticeably. For load-in or load-out on those roads, we aim to be done by mid-afternoon or start post-5pm.
04
Full-house moves suit a 3- or 4-mover crew
For a 3-bed house the 3-mover crew at $210/hr moves the load in the same day; for a 4-bed a 4-mover at $300/hr often ends up cheaper on total cost because the hours drop. We'll size the crew on the quote call.

Representative move
A typical Castle Hill move.
4-bed house · off Old Northern Road · 7 hours · $2,100 + GST
A common Castle Hill job: a large 4-bedroom family house on a street off Old Northern Road, single level with a double garage and the generous blocks the Hills is known for.
Four movers and a big truck, seven hours — 7 × $300 = $2,100 + GST. The volume is the reason for the bigger crew: a full Hills family home done in one trip rather than two.
Pattern: for the family houses around Castle Hill and Baulkham Hills, four movers and the big truck is often the right call. Smaller homes and townhouses near the metro run on two or three movers.

Common moves
Where Castle Hill is moving.
The four lanes we run most often from Castle Hill. Same hourly rate, same inclusions, same insurance cover on every run.
01
Castle Hill → Sydney CBD
via M2 / Lane Cove Tunnel / Harbour Bridge · ~40–55 min off-peak
Downsize lane — Castle Hill family homes to CBD apartments. Avoid eastbound morning peak on the M2.
02
Castle Hill → Chatswood
via M2 / Epping Rd · ~30–40 min off-peak
Common downsize into Chatswood towers. Lane Cove Tunnel is the quick route mid-day.
03
Castle Hill → Parramatta
via Windsor Rd / M2 · ~25–35 min
Cross-Hills lane between two Metro-connected town centres. Windsor Road school-run afternoons slow it noticeably.
04
Castle Hill → Kellyville
via Old Northern Rd · ~10–15 min
Very common local family-home lane. Metro line connects the two so downsize and upsize moves both flow.
Castle Hill FAQ
Castle Hill removalist FAQs.
How much does a Castle Hill removalist cost in 2026?
A 3-bed Castle Hill house with our 3-mover crew is $1,470–$1,890 + GST at $210/hr over 7–9 hours. A 4-bed family home on the 4-mover crew is $2,400–$3,000 + GST at $300/hr. Metro-tower 2-bed apartments run $600–$900 + GST on our 2-mover crew.
Do you cover the Metro-adjacent apartment towers?
Yes — The Address, The Highline, Highfields and the newer towers around Castle Towers and Terminus Street. These moves need a booked service-lift slot from building management, usually 2–3 weeks ahead. Send us the booked window and we'll match the crew.
What is the best day and time for a Castle Hill move?
Weekday 10am–2pm is the cleanest window for M2 and Windsor Road access. Saturday mornings before 10am are also quiet. School-run afternoons (3–4:30pm weekdays) and Sunday afternoons in the Castle Towers precinct are the slowest.
Can you park a big truck in older Castle Hill streets?
Yes — almost every established Castle Hill street has kerbside parking and driveway access wide enough for a pantech. The rare exceptions are steep driveways or low garage entrances; flag either on the quote call and we'll match the truck.
Do you offer storage between moves?
Yes — 10 cubic-metre storage pods from $199/month. Common for Castle Hill customers who are between selling and settling, or downsizing over several weeks. Storage pods sit in our secure Sydney facility and can be delivered back on your move-in day.
Do you cover other Hills District suburbs?
Yes. We regularly move Kellyville, Cherrybrook, Bella Vista, West Pennant Hills, Baulkham Hills, Glenhaven and Beaumont Hills. The same rates apply, and the M2 / Windsor Road timing considerations are similar across the district.
Are you insured for a full family-home move?
Every job carries public liability and goods-in-transit insurance. Floor runners at both ends, blanket wrap on all timber and upholstered pieces, straps and ratchets on the truck. Certificate of currency available for strata managers on request.
