The streets drop steeply toward Fairlight Beach and the harbour foreshore — Sydney Road runs along the ridge, and the cross-streets fall away toward the water. Steep driveways mean park-and-shuttle. Apartment blocks require booked service-lift windows where they have lifts.
Fairlight is close to Manly and the Spit Bridge, so the city run is short (30–35 minutes off-peak). Sydney Road is the spine. Beach-adjacent parking around the foreshore fills on weekends — weekday mornings are cleanest.
