What Zetland actually involves.
Zetland 2017 sits at the centre of the Green Square renewal south of the CBD, in City of Sydney. It is almost entirely new — high-rise apartment towers built since the 2010s around the Green Square town centre, East Village and the old racecourse and industrial sites. There are effectively no houses.
Every Zetland move is a high-rise job. The towers — around Portman Street, Defries Avenue, East Village — all have service lifts, dedicated loading docks and strict body-corporate move windows (1–2 weeks notice, bond and Certificate of Currency common). The building name is essential.
The precinct's streets are new and well-laid-out but the towers use basement docks, not kerbside. Tower-to-tower moves within Zetland and Green Square are common; we align the two lift windows. Weekday mid-morning is cleanest.
