Furniture Removals

Certificate of currency available on request before move day.
In one paragraph
Sydney furniture moves, by the numbers.
Single-item or whole-home furniture moves from $150/hr + GST for two movers and a truck, three-hour minimum — so a typical single-item move runs about $450 + GST. Blankets and straps on every piece, disassembly and reassembly included on standard beds and tables. Specialty items (pianos, pool tables, safes) quoted separately.
What’s included
Care built in, not bolted on.
Blanket wrap, floor protection, tools for disassembly and reassembly — all part of the hourly. No upsell for "premium protection package."
- Furniture blankets and straps on every piece, before it leaves the door
- Floor protection at both addresses (runners, mats, hard-floor guards)
- Disassembly and reassembly of standard beds, tables and shelves
- Wardrobe boxes so hanging clothes travel on hangers, not folded
- Dollies, trolleys and stair-climbers for heavy pieces and awkward staircases
- Two-person minimum on every booking — no solo lifts on stairs
- Public liability and goods-in-transit insurance on every job
- Uniformed, background-checked crew
Specialty items
For the things that need more than a truck and a blanket.
Pianos, pool tables, safes, gym equipment and artwork are quoted separately because the crew and gear are different. Tell us what you have — we’ll price it or point you at a specialist if it’s not our job.
Upright pianos
Custom straps, 3+ movers, stair-climber when stairs are involved. Quoted separately.
Grand pianos
Full disassembly (legs, lyre, lid). Quoted after an on-site or video walk-through.
Pool tables
Slate piece separation and re-levelling at the new address. Specialist.
Artwork & antiques
Custom crating on request. Cushioned transport. Insured at declared value.
Safes & gym equipment
Weight and access dictate crew size. Site check first for anything over 150kg.

Furniture FAQ
Questions about furniture, before we pick it up.
Can you move just one item, like a sofa or a fridge?
Yes. Single-item moves run at the same hourly — from $150/hr + GST — with a 3-hour minimum. Most single-item moves finish inside the 3 hours, so the minimum (3 × $150 = $450 + GST) is usually the total.
Do you wrap furniture or is that extra?
Blanket-wrapping is included on every job. Every timber, leather or upholstered piece is wrapped before it leaves the door and stays wrapped until it’s in its new spot.
What about heavy or awkward items — pianos, safes, pool tables?
Specialty items are quoted separately because they need specific gear and crew size. Call or submit the quote form with a photo and the weight if you have it, and we’ll price it honestly — or tell you if it’s better handled by a specialist.
Can you move furniture up or down tight staircases?
Most of the time, yes. We measure the piece and the staircase before the job to confirm — the photos you send on the quote form are usually enough. If it won’t fit via the stairs, we raise it before booking so you’re not stuck on the day.
Will my floors get scratched?
Not by us. We lay runners and hard-floor guards at both ends before we bring anything in, and crew wear shoe covers on hard floors.
