Can you move our office after-hours or on a weekend?
Yes — most office moves we do are Friday 6pm to Sunday 6pm so the team walks in Monday to a finished office. After-hours and weekend rates are confirmed on the quote.
How much notice do you need for an office move?
Two weeks for a 10–30 person office is comfortable. Under a week is possible — call and we will tell you honestly. We plan the move during business hours the first week and execute on the agreed window.
Do you handle desks, monitors, and server racks?
Desks and monitors yes — we disassemble, pack and reassemble at the new address. Live server racks and comms gear we work with your IT team — we move them, they power down and bring them back up. We don’t touch cabling we didn’t terminate.
Is the crew insured to work inside our building?
Yes. Public liability insurance and goods-in-transit insurance apply to every commercial move. We can provide a certificate of currency for your building manager before the move day.
What happens if the move runs over?
We plan buffer into every commercial job. If the unexpected happens (a lift out of service, a missed dock booking) the crew stays until it’s done — you aren’t billed for our plan failing, you’re billed at the agreed hourly for time on site.
Do you quote a fixed price for office moves?
We quote an hourly rate (from $300/hr + GST for the 4-person crew common on commercial jobs) plus an estimated hours range you’ll see before booking. For large projects we can work to a capped not-to-exceed number — ask Thales Yan when you call.
